Regulating Act of 1773
The British Government passed the Regulating Act in 1773 AD to remove corruption and mismanagement prevalent in the company This was the first phase of the process of development of the Indian Constitution The Act was passed on the recommendation of the Secret Committee set up by the then British Prime Minister Lord North.
